The problem with the German-Nazi/Islam-Islamism false dichotomy

I have a problem with the German-Nazi/Islam-Islamism analogy: It just isn't true.

"German" is a nationality and/or race, but "Nazism" was the ideology, and that was the problem. There were Catholic and Lutheran Germans who risked (and gave) all to protect their fellow Germans who happened to be Jewish.

"Islam" is the ideology Muhammad created. "Islamism" is the Western non-Muslim's confused or craven extenuation of what Islam actually is.

The terrorists who rape and behead innocent Christian schoolgirls, slice the breasts off the women of villages who answer "Muslim or Christian?" wrongly, and detonate their underwear ("Fruit of the Boom"?) in worship of Allah are practicing Islam the way Muhammad intended.

Historical, Qur'anic, traditional, mainstream Islam is the problem, and anyone who claims to follow it is one of its agents, whether or not they decapitate their Jewish neighbor, keep prepubescent nine-year-old sex slaves as "wives," or throw dirt into the wide-open mouths of their receptive Hindu dhimmis when they pay jizya.

A more accurate analogy in defense of "moderate" Muslims would be:

Not all Nazis worked the concentration camps.

The natural alliance that exists between the National Socialist Greater Germany and the freedom-loving Muslims of the whole world

Hitler to al-Husseini, al-Husseini to his Coreligionists of Peace, and Muhammad to the world . . . and to his everlasting shame and condemnation

Miami-Dade Transit first banned and then allowed ads offering help to those trying to free themselves from Islam. One commenter here suggested that rather than focus on Islam (he doesn't like its mingling of religion and state), we should focus instead on freedom of speech. To which I replied:

That’s like saying World War II shouldn’t have been about Hitler and Nazism, but about respecting borders. That’s great, but whom do you shoot?

(In other words, how do you defend yourself against an enemy you’re either too ignorant or too cowardly to name?)

So I offered a few observations:

"Godwinesque"? In pointing out the suicidal foolishness of avoiding confronting Islam directly, I made what's called an "analogy." Trying to dismiss its relevance demonstrates your ignorance, not your wit, and it proves my point.

The ties between Islam and Nazism are several and profound:

First, both Hitler and Muhammad shared a deep and abiding passion for killing Jews, though Adolf's six million Muhammad would call only "a start."

Second, both sought to subjugate the world. (Muhammad's been considerably more successful.)

Third, recognizing their natural fit, Hitler and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem worked together to exterminate Jews as efficiently as possible, with al-Husseini not only collaborating on the concentration camps and encouraging the Nazis staffing them to do their work diligently, but also recruiting his coreligionists to serve in the Nazi's Bosnian Muslim SS divisions.

Here's a bit on Hitler to al-Husseini:

"Hitler . . . asked al-Husayni to 'to lock ...deep in his heart [that] . . . Germany has resolved, step by step, to ask one European nation after the other to solve its Jewish problem, and at the proper time, direct a similar appeal to non-European nations as well'. When Germany had defeated Russia and broken through the Caucasus into the Middle East, it would have no further imperial goals of its own and would support Arab liberation... But Hitler did have one goal. 'Germany’s objective would then be solely the destruction of the Jewish element residing in the Arab sphere under the protection of British power.' . . . Here's a morsel on al-Husseini to his Coreligionists of Peace:

"On March 1, 1944, while speaking on Radio Berlin, al-Husayni said: 'Arabs, rise as one man and fight for your sacred rights. Kill the Jews wherever you find them. This pleases God, history, and religion. This saves your honor. God is with you."

And here's the genocidal pedophile Muhammad to the world . . . and to his everlasting shame and condemnation:

"The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him . . ." (Muslim Book 41, Number 6985).

Fourth, Hitler lamented Germany's being a Christian nation rather than an Islamic one.

Fifth, Hitler wrote of his "struggle," Mein Kampf. Muhammad commanded his followers to wage jihad against the world "until all religion is for Allah." "Jihad" means "struggle."

Sixth, just as Chamberlain and other ignorant cowards sought to appease a monster who'd made his intentions clear -- in writing -- so today we have a multitude of Chamberlains running around attempting to silence those telling the truth about jihad and shari'a through prosecutorial persecution (Geert Wilders), violence and the threat of violence (Theo Van Gogh, the Muhammad cartoons, and yes, South Park), and name-calling ("Islamophobe," "racist," and "Godwin").

There's one aspect in which Muhammad and Hitler differed dramatically: At least Hitler didn't claim "the devil made me do it."

So, no. The reference to Nazism was not gratuitous.

Speaking of false information

First of all, the Nazis were christians and not Muslims. The affair in the Darfur region of Sudan is among Muslims and not Muslims vs Christians. and after all the USA (Christian state) wiped out two million Vietnamese few decades ago, more than 600,000 Iraqis are dead and more to die, let alone the thousands in South America under the name of fighting communisim.

It's the the queen of Spain who forced people to change their faith or be expelled from their homes after eight hundreds years of peace and harmony under Islamic rule where mosques, synagogs, and churches stood next to each other. It's the cursaderes who butchered jews and muslims when they conquered jerusalem. and to the contrary Saladin the muslim warrior who won jerusalem back again shown nothing but mercy and peace even to those who had blood in their hands. and many more examples.

How dishonest of you!

First, that any of the Germans who supported Nazism were Christians means they should have known better, because Christ forbids the evil they committed. Second, when Christians commit such barbarity, it is contrary to their God's commands. When Muslims slaughter non-Muslims who refuse to submit to Allah, it is in accord with their god's commands and their false prophet's example. Third, Hitler was no Christian. He despised the faith for its "weakness," but admired Islam. [Fourth, Islam allied itself with Nazism, with even the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem touring Hitler's works and exhorting its agents to work diligently killing Jews.] Finally, the several millions killed by Nazism is what Islam calls, "a start."

How many have been butchered by Allah over the last nearly one and one-half millennia? Hundreds of millions? Billions? How many enslaved? Maimed? Raped, just as Mohammed said and did?

With regard to Sudan, your comment is, unsurprisingly, only half the truth. Islam had been slaughtering Black Christians and animists [there] for years before concern about Darfur became fashionable.

As for the wars against Communism, those were wars against tyranny and for Liberty. Being Muslim, you naturally find that offensive.

In Iraq, Coalition forces removed a brutal dictator who oppressed, tortured, and exterminated many Muslims. Why do you not thank America and its allies? The deaths today of any innocent Musilms is due to their (and your) co-religionists.

Finally, Spain had to fight for nearly eight centuries to regain its freedom from Islamic tyranny, the first Crusade was called to defend fellow Christians under siege for centuries by Islam, and you can hardly call a monster serving his own self-interest "merciful."
