I received as a comment to a previous post the nonsense below from "Ahmedinajad." It appears to be some sort of form letter/spam intended to persuade the ignorant and gullible that Islam is actually from YHWH, the God of the Bible.
Before sharing the transparently deceptive attempt to legitimize the Religion from Hell and justify Mohammed's murderous lies by (falsely) connecting them to the Bible, I will let (the true) God speak for Himself on the relevance of Ishmael to His purposes:

I'm going to use these historical events as an illustration. The women illustrate two arrangements. The one woman, Hagar, is the arrangement made on Mount Sinai. Her children are born into slavery. Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia. She is like Jerusalem today because she and her children are slaves.
But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother...Now you, brothers and sisters, are children of the promise like Isaac.
Furthermore, at that time the son who was conceived in a natural way persecuted the son conceived in a spiritual way. That's exactly what's happening now.
But what does Scripture say? "Get rid of the slave woman and her son, because the son of the slave woman must never share the inheritance with the son of the free woman."
Brothers and sisters, we are not children of a slave woman but of the free woman. (Galatians 4:22-26, 28-30).

At Genesis 22 Abraham had only 2 sons others came later. The Quran mentions that it was Ishmael that was sacrificed hence the reference in genesis 22:2 your only son can only mean someone has substituted Ishmael names for Isaac!!

THAT WOULD MAKE ISHMAEL 17 YEARS OLD IN GENESIS 21:14-21It is clear from Genesis that Ishmael was a boy, not an infant. Besides, doing the math (recorded in Genesis itself), it is clear that he had to be somewhere over fourteen years of age.
BUT IT IS A DESCRIPTION OF AN INFANT.
Early the next morning Abraham took bread and a container of water and gave them to Hagar, putting them on her shoulder. He also gave her the boy and sent her on her way. So she left and wandered around in the desert near Beersheba.Ahmedinajad continues:

Then she went about as far away as an arrow can be shot and sat down. She said to herself, "I don't want to watch the boy die." So she sat down and sobbed loudly.

Carefully read several times the above passage and then tell me the mental picture you get between the mother child interactions what is the age of the child. If the mental picture is that of a 17 year old child being carried on the shoulder of his mother, being physically placed in the bush, crying like a baby, mother having to give him water to drink, than the Islamic viewpoint is null and void.Nowhere does the Genesis text say the boy was carried on his mother's shoulders, as Ahmedinajad falsely claims. Neither does the text say he was placed "in" a bush, but under one. Since Hagar was despairing, it is not unreasonable to think that Ishmael was also.
Again, just as above, the "Islamic viewpoint is null and void."
I have shown the passage of Genesis 21 to my two elder children of good reading ages now and without influencing them asked them what mental picture they got about the age of Ishmael in that passage and they thought he was about 5 years old. I have also tried the same thing with my work colleagues some of whom are qualified with PhD’s and have the ENGLISH language as their mother tongue and they also said they thought Ishmael was 5 years or younger because some of them stated by themselves that there was no verbal interaction between mother and child. I.e. If Ishmael is not of talking age then he must be less than a year old.Genesis indicates that Ishmael was at least 14. The lack of a written record of verbal interaction between Hagar and Ishmael does not mean that there was none. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. To conclude that Ishmael was not of "talking age" demonstrates very poor reasoning skills (unsurprising coming from one with this worldview).
The rest of Ahmedinajad's post consists of the Qur'an's lies regarding several Biblical characters, useful only for demonstrating that either the Jews and Christians of Mohammed's day knew nothing of their own Scriptures and so passed on to him horribly mangled versions of those tales, or Mohammed butchered the actual Biblical tales to suite his own purposes (which seems more likely, since every one of Mahomet's perversions favor Islam and demean or defame Christ and God's prophets).

It is the oldest faith on the planet it starts of with Adam and Eve, and continuous through revelations given to Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus (many others too numerous to mention) until its completion under the messenger ship of Muhammad (pbuta). Islam is not an exclusively an Arab faith as there is no scriptural evidence that Muhammad (pbuh) said that he is the founder of Islam. One cannot quote the Quran as it is not the work of Muhammad as he could not read or write in any language including Arabic. Just as Jesus has himself not ever said that he is the founder of Christianity or Moses has not stated that he is the founder of Judaism.

This is an ironic statement, since Islam's god is satan. Jesus says that the devil was a liar and murderer from the beginning. That description perfectly fits Allah and his apostle.
