WorldNetDaily: Robert Reich: God worse than terrorism
Clinton's labor secretary admits he views faith in God as more dangerous than terrorism.
I suppose he's half right--fanaticism in a god that commands slaying the infidel is dangerous (at least for the infidel).
Reich goes on to say the problem with "religious zealots" is that "they confuse politics with private morality."
(He must be pleased the previous adminstration never did that!)
It is silly to imply that politics can ever be separated from morality. Every policy decision, every initiative, every ruling is based on someone's morality. A law is, by its very nature, a codification of morality.
The question becomes then, by whose morality will we be guided?
